Overview

Bl_nk partnered with Partner Now Property to support Jacqui and Dave as they stepped away from a stale franchise environment and launched their own independent property agency in Tamworth.

The opportunity was not simply to create a new name and identity. It was to help an already established team move under a new brand umbrella without losing the recognition, trust and local relationships they had built over time.

Led by Jacqui as the lead selling agent, Partner Now Property offers both sales and property management across residential and rural markets. This diversity meant the brand needed to speak to a broad audience, from homeowners and investors to rural property clients and long-standing local families.

The rebrand needed to feel fresh, but familiar. Confident, but not corporate. Professional, but still humble and personable. Most importantly, it needed to feel like it belonged in Tamworth.

This was not a brand designed for a capital city audience. It was a brand built for a small, conservative and highly relationship-led regional market, where trust, familiarity, local presence and traditional property advertising still play a meaningful role.

Five years on, Partner Now Property has grown into an award-winning agency, a pillar of the Tamworth community and a business that continues to contribute to local employment through the growth of its team.

The Impact

The Partner Now Property rebrand successfully helped Jacqui and Dave step out from under a franchise model and launch an independent agency with confidence, clarity and community relevance.

The brand carried across existing trust while creating a fresh identity that felt established, personable and locally connected.

It supported the agency in competing against long-standing franchise companies, not by imitating them, but by creating a brand that reflected the values, service model and local relationships at the heart of the business.

Since launch, Partner Now Property has grown significantly. The agency is now award-winning, recognised within the Tamworth community and has continued to contribute to local employment through the expansion of its team.

The five-year brand audit allowed the business to pause, reflect and refine. It uncovered areas where consistency needed to be strengthened and created a clearer strategic direction for the next stage of growth.

Challenges & Strategic Response

Moving away from a franchise without losing market trust

Jacqui and Dave were moving away from a franchise model that had become limiting. They wanted more freedom, greater ownership and the ability to build an agency that reflected their own values, service standards and ambitions.

The challenge was that the franchise had already given them visibility in the Tamworth market. There was existing trust, recognition and goodwill that needed to be protected.

The strategic response was to build the rebrand around continuity, not disruption.

The key message was simple: the business was not new, only the name was.

This helped create reassurance from the beginning. The new brand needed to feel like an evolution of what clients already knew and trusted, rather than a complete departure. The launch strategy was critical in controlling this narrative and ensuring familiarity was established early.

Introducing a new brand into a conservative regional market

Tamworth is not Sydney CBD. The brand could not feel overly sleek, corporate or disconnected from the rhythms of the local market.

The challenge was to create a brand that felt fresh and professional without alienating the local audience. It needed to be relatable, grounded and familiar enough for the community to connect with.

Our response was to develop a brand that felt humble, personable and established. It carried a fresh identity, but avoided feeling too modern or inaccessible.

The brand needed to feel like it had always belonged in the community.

This thinking shaped the tone of voice, visual identity, launch messaging and rollout strategy, ensuring the brand entered the market with confidence but without arrogance.

Respecting the local property environment

In many city markets, certain traditional marketing channels have become less relevant. In Tamworth, they still matter.

Printed property magazines outside the office door were not outdated. They were being picked up by local passers-by. Window signs were not just decorative. They were an active and effective form of property advertising.

The challenge was to build a brand system that respected how people in Tamworth still engage with property.

Our response was to ensure the identity could work strongly across both modern and traditional touchpoints. The brand needed to perform across digital platforms, office signage, window displays, printed magazines, property collateral, local advertising and face-to-face client environments.

This was not about forcing a city-style brand model into a regional market. It was about understanding what already worked and building a brand system that could make those touchpoints more consistent, recognisable and effective.

Creating a brand that felt established from day one

The rebrand needed to avoid the feeling of a start-up.

Although the name was new, the people, experience and client relationships were already established. The identity needed to reflect that maturity from the beginning.

Our response was to create a brand that felt confident, settled and commercially credible. The design and messaging needed to give clients immediate reassurance that Partner Now Property was experienced, capable and here to stay.

This allowed the business to launch with the credibility of an established agency, while still creating the energy and independence of a new chapter.

Building a brand around more than one person

Partner Now Property is led by husband-and-wife duo Jacqui and Dave, with Jacqui leading the team as the lead selling agent.

While their leadership was central to the business, the brand needed to be bigger than the individuals behind it. It needed to support the wider team, future growth, property management, residential sales and rural property services.

Our response was to develop a brand that was built around a shared service philosophy, not just a founder story.

This created a platform the team could align behind, one that reflected how they work, what they value and the level of service they aim to deliver across every client interaction.

Reviewing the brand five years on

Five years after launch, Jacqui and Dave returned to Bl_nk to review and audit the brand since its inception.

This was an important milestone. After five years of growth, industry shifts, changing market demands and internal team expansion, the brand needed to be assessed against the business it had become.

The audit uncovered areas where inconsistency had started to creep in. As the team had grown, the need for clearer organisational structure, service consistency and internal alignment became more important.

Our response was to conduct key interviews with department heads to understand how different areas of the business were operating, what objections or questions they were regularly receiving, and where service levels were or were not aligned with the brand direction.

From there, we revised the original brand strategy and identified opportunities for growth, refinement and stronger market positioning.

Our Role

Bl_nk came in as a strategic brand partner to help Jacqui and Dave transition from an existing franchise business into an independent agency with its own identity, positioning and long-term growth potential.

Our role was to provide a fresh perspective while respecting the equity already built within the market.

From the beginning, one of the central questions was:

How do we create something new without making the market feel like they are dealing with someone new?

The strategy needed to carry existing trust across into a new brand, while giving Jacqui, Dave and the team the freedom, confidence and structure to move forward independently.

We developed the brand strategy, positioning, identity system and launch narrative to ensure the transition felt clear, familiar and considered. The work needed to reassure existing clients, attract new audiences and give the team a brand they could stand behind with pride.

Five years later, Bl_nk was brought back in to conduct a brand audit and revised strategic review. This allowed us to assess how the brand had evolved since launch, identify inconsistencies that had crept in, review organisational structure as the team had grown, and uncover new opportunities for positioning, service consistency and future growth.

Who We Worked With

Bl_nk worked closely with Jacqui and Dave through the initial rebrand, launch and later brand audit process.

The initial work focused on helping them transition from a franchise environment into an independent agency with its own identity, positioning and community presence.

As the business grew, the work expanded to include consultation with key team members and department heads, allowing us to understand how the brand was being experienced across different areas of the organisation, including sales, property management, client service and internal operations.

This approach ensured the brand was not only reviewed from the outside, but understood from within the business.

What We Delivered

Brand Strategy & Positioning

We developed the strategic foundation for Partner Now Property, helping define how the agency should be positioned as an independent regional property business.

The strategy needed to balance familiarity and change. It had to reassure existing clients while creating a distinct new presence in market.

This included clarifying the brand’s role, audience, values, service approach, market position and core narrative.

Rebrand Transition Strategy

A key part of the project was managing the transition from franchise to independent agency.

We developed a launch direction that allowed Partner Now Property to communicate the change clearly and confidently, while protecting the trust already built in the market.

The messaging focused on continuity, reassurance and familiarity, helping clients understand that while the name had changed, the people, service and local knowledge remained.

Brand Narrative & Messaging

We created a brand narrative that reflected the agency’s down-to-earth approach, local connection and commitment to quality service.

The messaging needed to feel genuine to Tamworth. It could not be overly polished, corporate or disconnected from the community.

We shaped the language to feel personable, direct and reassuring, giving the team a clear way to communicate who they are, what they stand for and why the rebrand mattered.

Visual Identity System

We developed a visual identity system that gave Partner Now Property a fresh, professional and established presence.

The identity needed to feel strong enough to compete with long-standing franchise agencies, but approachable enough to connect with local clients.

It was designed to work across a wide range of touchpoints, from digital marketing and social media through to office signage, window displays, printed magazines and property collateral.

Brand Launch Strategy

We developed the launch strategy to ensure the right narrative was released into market from the beginning.

The launch needed to create ease, familiarity and confidence. It was important that existing clients did not feel they were dealing with a new or unknown business, but rather the same trusted team under a stronger, independent brand.

This helped support a smoother transition and establish credibility from day one.

Print, Digital & Environmental Brand Rollout

We supported the rollout of the brand across key physical and digital touchpoints.

This included consideration of traditional marketing channels that remained highly relevant in the Tamworth market, including printed property magazines, window displays, office-front material, signage and local advertising.

The rollout ensured the brand could be experienced consistently across the channels the local audience actively used and valued.

Brand Audit & Strategic Review

Five years after the initial rebrand, we conducted a brand audit to review how the brand had evolved, where inconsistencies had emerged and how the strategy needed to shift to support the next stage of growth.

This included reviewing internal structure, service consistency, communication, audience expectations and how the brand was being applied across different areas of the business.

Stakeholder & Department Interviews

As part of the audit process, we conducted interviews with key department heads to understand how different areas of the business were operating.

These conversations helped identify common client questions, recurring objections, differences in service delivery and opportunities to bring greater consistency across the client journey.

The insights informed the revised brand strategy and helped shape practical recommendations for internal alignment and future growth.

Revised Brand Strategy & Growth Recommendations

Following the audit, we refined the original brand strategy to reflect where Partner Now Property had grown, how the market had shifted and what the business needed to focus on next.

This included identifying opportunities to strengthen positioning, improve consistency across the service funnel, better support the larger team and create a clearer pathway for ongoing brand growth.
